The Head and Neck Directorate comprises of a 24 bedded Adult Plastic Surgery Ward, a six bedded Regional Burns Unit inclusive of an Ambulatory Burns Clinic, a Laser Department inclusive of a Trauma Clinic and a twenty three bedded Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) / Maxillo Facial Surgery Ward.
We strive to provide person centered care for patients with a variety of conditions focusing on specialist post op ENT, plastics and Burns care .
We admit emergencies from our clinics, the Emergency Department and other Hospitals twenty four hours per day seven days per week. We also provide care for patients admitted for elective procedures.
Our aim is to provide our patients with safe, timely, up to date person centred care within an empowering environment.
Training and development
The Head and neck Team have a development program which cover the full range of opportunities from core skills to specialist burns qualifications to suit individuals at all levels of experience.
