#FutureNurse – harnessing our future talent one uniform at a time
An innovative project has been launched between NHS Grampian and NHS Lothian to widen current perceptions of nursing and tackle gender imbalance in younger children. Fourteen pilot schools in Grampian and Lothian will be testing a resource pack supporting ‘Curriculum for Excellence’ aims and comprises of interactive videos and play resources, including replica nursing tunics.
We have been delivering some fantastic pilot sessions as part of this exciting project. Have a look at this video to see the impact we are having, one uniform at a time, challenging gender bias and promoting modern nursing roles.
