This is a 5 bedded enhanced care unit with additional 10 remote telemetry monitored beds for complex medical conditions from a wide range of specialties. These include Cardiology, Endocrinology Stroke, Gastroenterology, Neurology, and Respiratory amongst others.
The ratio of nurse to patients is higher than in the general ward area.
