- Nurse led Pre-admission/ Day of Surgery unit, providing pre-surgery care and assessment.
- The Surgical Assessment Unit and Surgical Emergency Admissions ward are both extremely busy and dynamic areas.Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Services are both available on this Site.
- The GI Unit provides Specialist Inpatient Care and Investigations for Acute and Chronic lower GI complaints with added support from a Complex Nutrition Team and Inflammatory Bowel Disease Team.
- The unit is a leading centre for the management of inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Our Endoscopy Service carries out both Endoscopic and Bronchoscopic Investigations and we are a Tertiary Unit for lower GI and Colorectal Endoscopic procedures.
