Cancer Services

The Edinburgh Cancer Centre (ECC) services NHS Lothian and supports the surrounding NHS Boards, namely Borders, Dumfries and Galloway and Fife. This is an exciting time for ECC as we embark on an expansion project, which is supported by the Scottish Government, and will result in a brand new purpose built cancer centre and research facility on the Western general site in the north west of Edinburgh.

If you are trained in SACT assessment and delivery or currently work within cancer services we would love to hear from you. Our expansion will see many opportunities in day case and inpatient SACT delivery with a vision of providing remote/mobile/home SACT delivery as we expand further. Throughout ECC we have roles at band 5, 6 and 7 level ranging from staff nurse, senior staff nurse, research nurse, senior and deputy charge nurse, clinical nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist. We have an expanding team of band 7 advanced nurse practitioners.

If you are looking for a new challenge and would like to be part of NHS Lothian’s cancer services get in touch. We are looking for nurses with a variety of experiences to join our team to ensure cancer services is equip to deal with modern health care challenges. So whether your experience is in acute medicine, A&E, surgical, ITU or many more specialties your transferrable skills are of value to us.
